some people simply deserve the look. for those who haven't seen it yet (good for you!) i'd have posted a picture of the look but that would diminish its power. the look is characterised by slightly raised eyebrows, a disdainful smirk and and narrowed eyes, as well as a "what else can go wrong in this world" sigh. it is reserved for bearers of stupid news, among other things which i'd rather not recall now. memorable recipients of the look include the following gems (note: in no particular order, because they are all so worthy it's hard to rank them):

1. "you know.. that scene in black hawk down, where the guy is firing a gun.."
2. "hey this boy in the movie looks familiar.. he was in some other movie.. he's someone's son."
3. "pineapple fried rice? oh, it's fried rice fried with pineapple!"
4. "i don't like the food at baker's inn.. it's all.. baked."
