had a bloody wonderful week! yeah i know i'm supposed to be studying but this wk was too good to resist.. guess with caring friends like these, you can't stay down for long. *muaks*! let's see..
wed: discovered menotti's @raffles city with veen. mon-fri, 1730-2030 free appetizer buffet with purchase of cocktail/ wine/ some exotic alcohol. o lovely tequila.. ;) also went to new asia bar with joshua and benson. btw veen's friend benson is this tall guy who plays waterpolo i think.. hmm more on that later.
fri: went to sentosa with zionites, my awfully "onz" group of freshies this recent foc. casualties included a sony digital camera(!) and a nokia h/p, but i had a great day.. present sunburns notwithstanding. was bloody lonely though. conclusion: do not, unless thou hath extremely thick epidermis and/or an unbelievably cheery disposition that will not die, go on an outing solo to such areas with couples for company. ooh.. no one to go hunting with tt day *squints at veen*
sat: met lc for dinner after a terribly long day of string torture.. aft tt had a long stroll from raffles place mrt to suntec to capitol bldg. was one of those things you'd always wanted to do, have a peaceful, quiet stroll on a cool evening with a good friend, all other problems far away for that moment. well for me at least =P good luck dear bear, don't drive yourself up the wall pondering abt stuff.
sun: went to listen to free sco concert @botanical gardens with jon. another one of those things to do before you die, lying there in the grass with someone who makes you happy, listening to music and watching the clouds do their stuff, while little tissue box holders (aka tiny furred dogs) scurried around chasing little kids who were adorable w/o getting on your nerves.

oh btw here's a pic of a duck with an identity crisis. it was tagging along with the 2 swans in the pond, looking for all the world like just another swan save for the (very prominent) beak and the fact that the darn thing was quacking. swans didn't seem to mind, though. kinky cross-species thing going on? =P
